Raymond J. " Bump " Alukas

WORCESTER___ Raymond Joseph "Bump" Alukas, 91, of Worcester, passed away at St. Vincent Hospital Saturday Jan. 7, 2012 surrounded by his family. He leaves his wife of 70 years, Irene (St. Onge) Alukas, two daughters, Patricia A. wife of Dr. Paul K. Kleinman of Cambridge and Sandra wife of Brian Buckley of Worcester; three grandchildren, Anthony Belanger and his girlfriend Holly Gilligan of Portsmouth, N.H., Bridget Buckley and Ryan Buckley of Worcester, a step granddaughter, Julie Kleinman of Oakland, CA. He also leaves two sisters, Christine Markunas of Casselberry, Fl., and Catherine Arrowood of Williamsburg, VA. He was born in Worcester, a son of Matthew and Catherine (Galeskas) Alukas. He was predeceased by his twin brother Matthew and his brother Mickey.
Mr. Alukas was a machine operator 30 years for the Crompton & Knowles Co., in Worcester.
