WORCESTER___Paul Pierre Tasse, 75, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2012 with his wife, Diane by his side after a long struggle with Parkinson's Disease. In addition to Diane, Paul leaves four sons; Michael, Jeffrey and Timothy Tasse and Thomas Henighan,; six daughters, Lisa Mangeo, Deborah O'Brien, Linda Tasse, Bridget Smith, Kerry Brennan and Maureen Grenier; twelve grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Paul is survived by three sisters, Jeanne Tasse, Claudine Pearson and Terese Hebert. He was predeceased by his parents, Antoinette (Desrosiers) and Paul Tasse; his sister, Carolyn Best; his brothers, Claude and Charles Tasse and a grandchild, Sean Mc Donald.
Paul was a lifelong resident of Grafton Hill, where he owned a photography studio. Prior to owning his own business, Paul worked as a photographer for Marvin Richmond Studios. He was an active member of the community and served as Eucharistic Minister for Our Lady of Loreto Church for several years. He also belonged to St. John's prayer group, the Professional Photographers Association, the Oak Hill CDC, and was a founding member of the Grafton Hill Business Association.
The funeral will be held Saturday, January 21, from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St, with a Mass at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Loreto Church, 37 Massasoit Road. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours in the funeral home will be Friday, January 20, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. www.worcesterfuneral.com
