Helen H. Kozarnowicz

WORCESTER___ Helen H. Kozarnowicz, 92, of Worcester, died Sunday Jan 8, 2012 in Golden Living - The Hermitage, 383 Mill Street.
She leaves her sister-in-law and caregiver, Estelle C. Kozarnowicz of Worcester with whom she lived and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters Stanley J. Kozarnowicz, Joseph S. Kozarnowicz, Jane Kozarnowicz and Laura Dymek. She was born in Worcester, a daughter of Felix and Jadwiga "Hedwig" (Rucki) Kozarnowicz and was a lifelong Worcester resident.
Ms. Kozarnowicz was a distribution clerk for many years with the United States Postal Service. Helen was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and after the war she joined the Marine Reserves. Helen was a graduate of Commerce High School and was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church.
The funeral will be held Wednesday Jan. 11 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street, with a Mass at 10:30 A.M. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday Jan. 10 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
