Mary L. (Beaupre) Antinovitch Howe, 73, joined her Lord and Savior on February 8, 2016 from her daughter's home surrounded by her family after a long illness.
She was born in Worcester on February 16 and was the daughter of the late George and Gladys (Lucia) Beaupre.
She leaves her children; Mary Brytowski and her husband Julian of Worcester, Joseph Antinovitch and his wife Mary of Brookfield, Michele Gifford and her husband David Carlson of North Grafton, Raymond Antinovitch of Worcester, Katrina Clark and her husband Michael of West Brookfield; her step-children Laurie McKinney and her husband Charles of Lauderhill, FL;John Howe and his wife MaryAnn of Lauderdale Lakes, FL; Judith Ritchie of Worcester; Christine Howe and her partner William LeDoux of Worcester; and Sherri Patterson and her husband Robin of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.; her grandson and caretaker Cody Howe; her brother George Beaupre and his wife Patricia of Leominster; several grandchildren, great - grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Ralph Howe; her brother Bernard Beaupre, her sisters Ruth Labonte, Rose Clark and Martha Gedman.
Mary graduated from Commerce High School in 1960 and during her lifetime worked at Smithfield Ice Cream, the Yankee Drummer Inn, Big D and Price Chopper. Mary was a parishioner of Covenant-St. Andrews United Methodist Church on Hamilton St. in Worcester.
Mary enjoyed being with people and was known to family and friends as Cookie, Ma, Momma, Mommy, Nana, Grandma, Big Nana, and NanaBanana. She loved being with her family and their smiling faces brought her much happiness. She enjoyed going to church, bible study, and sharing prayers with others. You couldn't help but smile to watch her singing along with any song she heard - even if she didn't know the words. She will be deeply missed.
Calling hours will be held at the Henry-Dirsa Funeral Home, 33 Ward St. in Worcester on Friday, February 12 from 4pm-8pm with a short service at 5:30 led by Reverend Louis Bond. Cremation will follow at a later date.
