Mary E. (Seligowski) Skrocki, 91, of Rutland, formerly of Worcester died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday March 6, 2016. Her husband of 33 years, Walter J. Skrocki died in 1983 and her son, Robert A. Skrocki died in 2012.

She leaves a son, Paul R. Skrocki and his wife Denise of Rutland with whom she lived; two grandchildren, Kristen A. Skrocki and Michael P. Skrocki, two great-grandchildren, Sean and Tyler, a sister, Rita Seligowski of Worcester, nephews and grand-nieces. She was also predeceased by two brothers and a sister, Louis Seligowski, Stanley Seligowski and Helen Petkus. She was born in Worcester, a daughter of Antoni and Maria (Grabowska) Seligowski and lived all of her life in Worcester until moving to Rutland four years ago.

Mrs. Skrocki was a homemaker and devoted to caring for her family. She was a graduate of Worcester Girl's Trade High School. Mary was a life-long member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church. She enjoyed being with family, playing bingo and scratching lottery tickets hoping for a big win. She will be remembered for her kindness, caring and generosity.

The funeral will be held on Thursday March 10, 2016 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street, Worcester with a Mass at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. A Calling hour will be held in the funeral home on Thursday March 10, 2016 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St., Worcester, Ma., 01610.
