PUTNAM, CT____Marcella Malvina (Dvareckas) Shea, 95, formerly of Worcester and Putnam, CT, passed away Saturday April 2, 2016 in Matulaitis Nursing Home, Putnam, CT. Her husband, Timothy Shea died in 1987. She is survived by her daughter Marcella Simpson and her daughter's husband Robert of Tulsa, OK; 3 grandchildren Robbie, Shea and Cory, 1 great grand daughter Ashli, 1 sister Barbara Cahill of Camillus ,New York and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a daughter, Kathleen R.J. Shea. Marcy was born in Providence, RI a daughter of John and Malvina (Kalantas) Dvareckas.
Marcy worked over 20 years as an office manager for Roadway Transportation Company before retiring. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. She was also an active member of the Woman's Lithuanian Club of Worcester, Ma. One of her greatest joys was playing cards with her friends, bowling in various leagues and dancing.
The Memorial Service will be held Friday, April 8, 2016 at 1:00 pm in DIRSA MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., the funeral home is assisting the family with arrangements. Burial will be private in St. John Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Assoc., The M.S. Society, Matulaitis Rehabilitation and Skilled Care and worcesterfuneral.com
