WORCESTER____John E. "Smasher" Dziadul, 82, of Worcester died Wednesday, November 2, 2016 in his home. He is survived by his siblings, Twin sister, Joan Lawrence, of Worcester, Florence Lawrence of Peoria, AZ, brother, Edmond Dziadul of Sun City AZ, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by brothers, Joseph and Francis Dziadul and a sister Dorothy Sniffen. He was born in Worcester a son of August and Alice (Kwiatkowski) Dziadul.
A lifelong Worcester resident, he worked as a carpenter at the College of the Holy Cross for many years prior to retirement. He graduated from Worcester Boy's Trade School. John served in the US Navy during both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in Henry Dirsa Funeral Home, 33 Ward St., Worcester. A visitation period will be held prior to the service from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. www.worcesterfuneral.com
