SOUTHBOROUGH___ Jean Allyn (Perry) Jewett, 67, of Southborough died suddenly on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 in Marlborough Hospital. Jean was born May 16, 1949 in Lowell, MA a daughter of Waldo and Bertha (Stevens) Perry.
Jean graduated from Wachusett Regional High School in Holden and received a Paralegal Certificate from Anna Maria College and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Worcester State College. She enjoyed reading and learning about different cultures, history, and genealogy.
In her youth Jean was a talented dancer, singer and actress. She loved performing and had been active in Regional Theater including playing the lead in "Bus Stop", in which she met her beloved husband. You could often find her singing around the house or enjoying an opera or other musical theater performance.
Jean spent time traveling with her husband overseas exploring the history and culture of the United Kingdom and Hong Kong. In her later years, Mrs. Jewett enjoyed spending time with her family and pets.
Jean is survived by her husband of forty-two years, Geoffrey H. Jewett. She also leaves her son, Geoffrey H. Jewett II of Westborough; daughter Jillian Manekas and her husband Jason Manekas of Winchester; grand-daughter Perry Manekas; and brother John Perry of Vermont.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to The American Cancer Society.
