Irene Isabelle (St. Onge) Alukas, 92, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester MA surrounded by her loving family. Her husband of 70 years, Raymond Joseph Alukas died in 2012. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia wife of Dr. Paul Kleinman of Cambridge and Sandra wife of Brian Buckley of Worcester; grandchildren, Anthony Belanger husband of Holly Gilligan of Newton, and Bridget and Ryan Buckley of Worcester; step-granddaughter, Julie Kleinman of Oakland, CA; sisters, Evelyn Carr of Warren and Theresa Gentile of Worcester; nieces and nephews. Brothers, Herman and Robert St. Onge, predecease her. Irene was born in Southbridge MA, daughter of Herman and Isabelle (Therrien) St. Onge and graduated from Holy Family High School. She worked in the printing room of Brewer & Co. in Worcester for many years. A memorial Mass will be held on Friday, January 8, 2016 at St. Stephen's Church, 357 Grafton St., Worcester MA at 10:30 a.m. Burial services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association . Dirsa-Morin Funeral Home, 298 Grafton St. is assisting with arrangements.
