Edward Golembeski, 89, formerly of Worcester died Sunday June 5, 2016 in Care One at Millbury Healthcare Center, Millbury. His wife, Corinne (Nauss) Golembeski died in 2013.
He leaves a son, Edward P. Golembeski of Somerset; two grandchildren, Kevin Golembeski and Kelly Martin, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother and three sisters, Anthony Glenn, Katherine Ermanski, Agnes Keddie and Helen Prostak. He was born in Worcester, a son of Julius and Elizabeth (Daglis) Golembeski and has lived in Worcester all of his life.
Mr. Golembeski was a Foreman many years in the Heat Treat Dept. of Wyman Gordon Co and retired many years ago. He enjoyed golfing and sketching. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
The funeral will be held on Friday June 10, 2016 at 11:30 A.M. in HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. A calling hour will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 A.M. on Friday June 10, 2016 in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a veteran's organization of your choice.
