Dorothy B. (Kowalski) Stomski, 86, of Worcester, died on Thursday, January 28, 2016. Her husband of fifty-six years Vincent P. Stomski, died in April of 2015. She leaves her sister Jane G. Lussier and her husband Raymond of Grafton; nieces Sandra Rogalski and her husband Andrew, Laurie Chaille and her husband Robert and Patricia Hayes and her husband Patrick; Brother-in-law James R. Jones of Florida; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She is predeceased by her sisters, Rita Jones and Theresa A. Lyons and nephew Jimmie Lyons.
Mrs. Stomski was a homemaker for many years. She was employed as a burler at the former Whittall's Carpet Company in Worcester for seventeen years prior to her retirement in 1963. She was a graduate of the former Worcester Girl's Trade high School. Dorothy was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church. Mrs. Stomski enjoyed gardening and being a special and close Aunt to her nieces and their families.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 11:00 am in HENRY - DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. A calling hour in the funeral home will be held before the service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St., Worcester, MA 01610.
