SPRINGFIELD__ Christine (Palubinskas) Kacevich, 68, of Springfield passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, May 18, 2015. She is survived by her husband of forty-one years, Paul Kacevich. She also leaves two brothers, George Palubinskas and his wife Janet of Worcester and Robert Palubinskas and his wife Nancy of Oxford; nieces and nephews. She was born in Biberach, Germany, a daughter of Jurgis and Sophie (Benner) Palubinskas.
Mrs. Kacevich worked for over twenty years as a cashier with Walmart Company. She graduated from the former Commerce High School in Worcester. She was an avid reader and enjoyed going out and spending time with her friends at The American Legion Post 277, in Indian Orchard. Christine had a love for all animals with a special fondness for cats. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff of Mercy Hospital Infusion Center for all the care and kindness to Christine during her illness.
The funeral services are private. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. DIRSA MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., is assisting the family.
