Catherine Marie Boyer, 74, of Shrewsbury died Wednesday March 30, 2016 in her home.
Catherine leaves her brother, Roger R. Boyer and his wife Jeanne of Worcester; and two nieces, Renee St. Germain and Michelle Chamberlain. She was born in Northbridge, daughter of Rene Rock Boyer and Marie M. (Sauve) Boyer.
Ms. Boyer worked in Hospital Administration throughout her career and retired several years ago. Catherine graduated from St. Mary's Central Catholic High School, Peter Bent Brigham School of Nursing and Columbia University.
Catherine was a cat lover and always had one. She loved to travel and enjoyed her trips to Canada, Africa, South America and the Galapagos Islands.
There will be a small service with family and close friends. Memorial contributions may be made to The National MS Society 101 1st Avenue, Waltham, MA., 02451. DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton Street, Worcester is assisting the family.
