Carol A. (Hasanowicz) Desrosiers, 68, of Worcester died on Wednesday July 27, 2016 in her home. She leaves her daughters Carrie B. Desrosiers and Amy L. Glavin both of Worcester; two brothers, Dennis P. Hasanowicz of Browns Mills, N.J., and James A. Hasanowicz and his wife Christine of Worcester, a son in law and his daughter, several cousins, and two grand fur babies. She was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Sam A. and Anastasia H. "Ann" (Krencisz) Hasanowicz and has lived here all of her life. Carol was a Nursing Home Activities Director 40 plus years working for The Belmont Home and continued there when it became the Christopher House, she retired this year. Carol was a graduate of St. Mary's High School and Anna Maria College. She had been a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church. Carol devoted her life to her children, family, and friends. During her free time she loved getting out early on the weekends and traveling to new destinations just to see the sights and in most cases just to try the breakfast. Every summer you could find her sitting beachside in Wells Maine at her favorite condo rental soaking up the sun. Carol always looked forward to her monthly dinner dates with her girlfriends Mary, Joanne, and Joyce and enjoyed the occasional (her favorite)Pear Margarita. Her smile, laughter, and silliness will truly be missed by all.
The funeral will be held on Monday August 1, 2016 from HENRY – DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 10:30 AM in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours in the funeral home are Sunday July 31, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Christopher House of Worcester Activities Department, 10 Mary Scano Dr., Worcester, Ma., 01605.
