Antoni Piascik, 84, of Grafton, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2015 in St. Vincent Hospital. His wife of forty-four years, Marianna (Maciora) Piascik died in 2000. He is survived by his children, George Piascik and his wife Halina of Millbury, Stanley Piascik of Worcester and Barbara Smith and her husband Paul of Grafton; four grandchildren, Anita Knott and her husband Stephen of Auburn, Eric Piascik, DMD of Northborough, Alexander Smith and Erika Smith, both of Grafton; two great grandchildren, Jacob and Ryan Knott of Auburn; dear friend, Helena Kozakiewicz; nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a brother, Jan Piascik and sisters, Wiktoria Kowalska and Czeslawa Deptula.

Mr. Piascik worked as a machinist for twenty-eight years at Reed and Prince Manufacturing Co., prior to retiring in 1993. He was educated in Poland, where he served in the Polish Army and immigrated to the US in 1965. He was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church. He also was a former member of the St. Mary's Booster's, the PNI Club and the US Steel Workers Union. When younger he enjoyed his regular Sunday get togethers with his friends. He also enjoyed a polish zabawa. In later years, his joy came with spending time with his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 from HENRY - DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours in the funeral home will be on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00p.m.
