Vincent P. Stomski, 91, of Worcester, died on Tuesday April 21, 2015 in his home.
He leaves his wife of 56 years, Dorothy B. (Kowalski) Stomski, his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Jane and Raymond Lussier and their children. He also leaves cousins and nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. He was a father figure to three nieces, Sandra Rogalski, Laurie Chaille and Patricia Hayes. He was predeceased by a brother, Stanley Stomski and a sister, Dorothy Stomski. Vincent was born in Worcester, a son of the late Stanislaw and Helen (Sankoski) Stomski and has lived in Worcester all of his life. He was a graduate of Worcester Boy's Trade High School and Worcester Junior College.
Mr. Stomski was a machinist many years for Morgan Construction Co. and retired several years ago. Before then he worked for U.S. Envelope Co., and U.S. Steel Corp. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and served as a Tec 3 with the 3063rd Ordnance Service Co. He was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church. Vincent loved and enjoyed classical music.
The funeral will be held on Friday April 24, 2015 with a service at 11:00 AM in HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St. A calling hour will be held before the service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St., Worcester, Ma., 01610
