Dear Zaleski family,
We are truly sorry to hear of the loss of Ray. He was a wonderful man and friend to my father, Leo. Ray's visits were a blessing during my father's most difficult time. I know he is with Gert and my parents now, and having a great time sharing stories and laughter.

After the deaths of their wives, Ray and my father grew even closer.
Both of them enjoyed hunting and fishing. My father often talked about their episodes. Some were comical, as my father would relate them. Many were simply a story of fun and camaraderie that they shared.
They shared a love of the Bingo night at the Elks. When Ray had trouble driving at night, my father would see that he got to, and back home from, the Elks.
And there was the PAV. It seems that the two of them pretty much made sure that events happened. My father often commented about Ray's dedication to the PAV.
After my mother died, Ray was a significant fixture in my father's life. He stopped by my father's house many times each week. They shared their grief for their losses, and he consoled my father as much as he could. I was often there when he was visiting. He was a compassionate, caring friend who did his best to help my father deal with his loss.
They took trips together, did some fishing, and had some good times. And they had the Elks and VFW to keep them occupied.
When my father died I made many phone calls. I think my call to Ray was the most difficult one. It ended a bond of two friends.
Then, at the wake, he led the PAV in a wonderful ceremony.
My wife and I will always remember him as a caring, dedicated friend to my mother and father.
I'm sure he is now with his wife and all of the relatives and friends that have gone before him.

Dear Zaleski Family,
Ray was a great customer and friend of mine and my dad's for years and years at Keystone Electric. It was always fun when he walked through the door....we'd squabble back and forth and in the end have a good laugh. I can't believe he was 91....he looked great when I last saw him not that long ago. He will be missed.

My condolences to the Zaleski family. Another of America's Greatest Generation joins his many friends and comrades. Ray was an integral leader of the American Polish Veterans and will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him. He earned the respect of so many over the years. Thank you for your service and leadership.

Dear Robert and family-
Sorry for your loss of your dad a great father and gentleman. Your parents are remembered with kindness. May you find peace in knowing he is now reunited with those who have gone before him and will now live his everlasting life in peace - that what was promised by the Lord. Hope all is well with you . I remember Ray and his wife from Worcester City Hospital. He was a good man.I'm glad he had a long fulfilled life.I'm sorry for your loss.May he rest in peace with Gert in heaven.
